Collection: Prong collar links

A link is a single element a prong collar is built from. With spare links, you fit the gear's length to your dog instead of buying a new prong collar - add a link when the neck circumference has grown, remove one when it needs shortening, or replace a single element if it's damaged. The swap is simple and done by hand, with no tools.

This collection holds Herman Sprenger spare links - a German maker with over 150 years of tradition, whose gear is the standard in IGP/IPO sport (a dog sport combining tracking, obedience and protection work) and in advanced obedience training. We have links for classic prong collars in three versions: stainless steel, black stainless steel and Curogan - a copper, tin and zinc alloy, nickel-free, recommended for dogs with sensitive skin. Separately, there are links for Neck-Tech collars (the plated version of the Sprenger prong collar) - in stainless steel, matte stainless and matte black stainless.

You choose a link by two things: the material and the wire thickness of your prong collar. That makes sure the new element fits the rest and works evenly around the whole neck. Links for classic prong collars and for Neck-Tech aren't interchangeable - they're two different systems, so it's worth buying a link for the model you have at home.

Not sure which link fits your prong collar? Write to us - we'll help match it by model, material and wire thickness.
