Covers go over a prong collar or its buckle to hide the metal under fabric - ideal for walks, training in public places, or simply for people who'd rather the gear didn't stand out. They don't change how the prong collar works - they protect it from knocks, and spare the dog and onlookers the sight of bare metal.
We offer two main types of Herman Sprenger cover. The first is covers for the whole body of the prong collar - fabric tubes in several colours (black, red, blue, green camo) that slip over the collar's ring. The second is ClickLock buckle covers - short caps matched to the buckle itself, to keep it discreet. For models without ClickLock, we also have flexible rubber covers in 2.25 mm and 3.2 mm sizes, which act like thicker insulation on a single link.
The right cover depends on the prong collar's size - specifically the wire thickness (2.25 mm / 3.2 mm / 4 mm) and the length. ClickLock covers fit all Herman Sprenger prong collars equipped with that buckle.
