| Compatibility | Herman Sprenger prong collars - size is matched to the collar's length and wire thickness |
A fabric cover that goes over your training prong collar. It serves three purposes: it protects the collar from dirt and moisture, shields the surface from scratches, and visually disguises the collar - once fitted, it looks like an ordinary collar.
Material and attachment
Made of durable, lightweight nylon - it holds up in rain, snow and mud. It fastens with hook-and-loop strips that grip firmly on the collar's links. Putting it on and taking it off takes only a moment.
How to pick the size
The first number in each option (e.g. 39.5 cm) is the cover's length - match it to your collar's length. The second (e.g. 25 mm) is the width - it has to match the width of the collar's links, which in turn reflects the wire thickness (thinner wire = narrower links = a narrower cover).
A size compatibility table is shown in the product photos.
A discreet look
With the cover on, the prong collar looks like an ordinary collar - useful when you'd rather the training wasn't obvious in public or in a group class.
Not sure which size to choose?
The cover has to match the wire thickness of your prong collar - you will find it in the collar's specification table.
