Herman Sprenger prong collar cover - braided nylon - for 2.25 mm wire (mini)

A braided-nylon cover that fits over a prong collar with 2.25 mm wire. It does two things at once: it protects the surface of the collar from water and mud, and it disguises it visually - once fitted, the collar looks like an ordinary, classic collar.

Protection and discretion

Braided nylon is light and hard-wearing, holding up in rain, snow and mud. It wraps the collar, so its coating is less exposed to dirt and moisture out in the field. The disguised look is handy wherever you'd rather the training wasn't obvious - in a group class or in public.

How to fit it

The cover is made of two straps, each about 25 cm long - the version sized for mini collars with 2.25 mm wire. Shorten it for shorter models if needed. The instructional video below shows how, step by step.

Choosing the colour

Available in three colours: black, pink and brown. It's purely a matter of looks - all of them fit prong collars with 2.25 mm wire.
