Top Matic magnetic bite tug - thin

The Top Matic magnetic bite tug in the thin version is a 22 × 6 cm roll with a magnet sewn inside and two handles. Top Matic is a German manufacturer of the magnetic reward system, where the toy holds onto a clip worn on your clothing and stays within reach the whole time.

What it is made of

The tug is sewn from ring-grade material, known as nylcot - the same fabric used for sleeves and other training tugs. It stands up to hard biting and holds its shape, which encourages the dog into a full, calm grip.

What it is for

The 22 × 6 cm roll is slim and light, so it is easy to handle on the move. It works for teaching a grip, for tug work, for building drive and as a reward after a correctly performed exercise. It is used in obedience, in protection work and in everyday motivation training.

The magnet inside

The magnet sewn into the tug attaches to the Power Clip, which you can fasten wherever it suits you - a training vest, a shirt or your trousers. The tug hangs on you, so you do not have to hold it in your hand or pull it out of a pocket. You hand the reward to the dog a split second after the command, and that immediacy is what keeps the dog focused on you.

Two handles

Two handles let you hold the tug with both hands and guide the dog confidently in tug work. You can just as easily present it one-handed, or work in pairs when the dog pulls hard.

The slimmer roll

At 6 cm wide, the roll is easier to take for a young dog or a dog with a smaller muzzle, and easier for you to hold in one hand during fast work. A slimmer roll also weighs less, which makes it good for throwing and for long motivation sessions.
