The Raddog Dlouhán ring-grade bite tug is a long roll for building and strengthening the grip of a working dog. Dlouhán means "the long one" in Czech and comes from its shape - a slim, handy tug that is easy to handle on the move. Raddog makes sports equipment for working dogs in the Czech Republic.
What it's made of
The tug is sewn from tough ring-grade material (known as nylcot) - the same material used for bite sleeves and other bite tugs. It stands up to intensive biting and keeps its shape well, which encourages a full, calm grip.
What it is for
At about 30 × 4 cm, the roll sits well in the dog's mouth and in your hand. It works for teaching and consolidating the grip, tugging, building drive and rewarding your dog after a correctly performed exercise. Used in obedience, protection and motivational play.
Three handle options
The version without handles is a plain roll - for throwing and for work when you want a clean tug with no extras. One handle gives you a secure one-handed hold when tugging. Two handles let you hold the tug with both hands or work as a pair - handy with a stronger dog and when presenting the tug.
Colour
Available in several colours. We pick the colour at random from current stock - if you would like a particular one, drop us a line after placing your order. If we have it, that is the one we will send.
Not sure which version to choose?
Drop us a line - we will advise based on how you work with your dog and what stage you are at.
