What it's made of

Ring-grade material, also called nylcot, is a tough synthetic fabric used in bite equipment. It does not soak up water the way jute does, it dries quickly and can be washed, yet it is soft enough that dogs are happy to hold it in their mouths. The loop is attached with a double seam, because it takes the full force of every pull.
