Raddog bite wedge - sheepskin

Sheepskin instead of jute

A sheepskin surface feels nicer in the dog's mouth than coarse jute, so young dogs and dogs just learning to hold are happy to take the wedge. The soft grip does not strain the teeth while they are changing.

Three handles, three ways to work

The two cord handles on the sides let you tug with both hands and pass the wedge from hand to hand. The third, a webbing loop on top, is for holding the wedge upright and for quickly presenting it to your dog from above.

For teaching the send-away

The manufacturer names this wedge directly as an aid for teaching the send-away. The wedge is placed at the target point as a visible reward for the dog to run to - so from the very start the exercise has a clear goal and is not just running into empty space.
