Herman Sprenger Neck-Tech Sport prong collar - matte stainless steel - 60 cm

The Neck-Tech Sport is Herman Sprenger's most advanced prong collar - the so-called plate version. Instead of a single wire it has flat links with the prongs bent toward the inside of the collar, so from the outside - depending on coat length - it doesn't look like a prong collar at all, but like a solid, flat collar.

Plate construction

On the Neck-Tech the prongs are part of wide, flat links and point inward. All the links are rounded, so there's no risk of injury. Pressure is spread evenly over a larger area of the neck than on a classic wire prong collar.

A central plate that protects the throat

As on every original Sprenger prong collar, the Neck-Tech has a central plate, so pressure isn't transferred to the dog's windpipe. That's what makes the model comfortable to wear, especially for short-coated breeds.

ClickLock buckle

ClickLock is Sprenger's patented buckle. It closes in one move, holds firmly under load and won't release by accident. It makes putting the collar on quick and secure.

Who it's for

The Neck-Tech Sport is chosen by trainers and competitors in IGP/IPO (the sport of training protection dogs) who want even pressure and a discreet look. It's a model for dogs in advanced training - it calls for knowledge and the right technique.

Important - for use during training only

This prong collar is intended for on-leash work during active training. It should not be used during free running, transport or while the dog is unsupervised.
