Herman Sprenger ULTRA-PLUS prong collar - semi-slip - mini - side ClickLock buckle - stainless steel - 43 cm / 2.25 mm

The Herman Sprenger ULTRA-PLUS prong collar (a training collar with adjustable, evenly spaced prongs) - a German maker with over 150 years of tradition, whose equipment is a standard in professional dog training worldwide. The 43 cm size with a 2.25 mm wire is the version for smaller and medium dogs.

Construction and how it works

A central plate (centerplate) spreads the pressure evenly to both sides of the dog's neck, taking the load off the sensitive windpipe. The links are rounded, with no sharp edges. An extra chain runs through the collar to limit how far it tightens - the correction is precise and controlled. A swivel ring turns with every movement and stops the leash twisting.

Side ClickLock buckle - no need to pull it over the head

The collar has a ClickLock buckle mounted on the side, so you put it on without dragging it over the dog's head - especially handy with dogs that have a large head. The buckle has a built-in guard against opening by accident during work.

Stainless steel

The collar is made entirely of stainless steel - resistant to corrosion and moisture, safe for everyday use.

Important - for use during training only

This prong collar is intended for on-leash work during active training. It should not be used during free running, transport or while the dog is unsupervised.
