The ULTRA-PLUS is one of the best-known prong collars (a training collar with adjustable, evenly spaced prongs) from Herman Sprenger - a German maker with over 150 years of tradition, whose equipment is a standard in professional dog training worldwide.

What sets it apart from an ordinary prong collar?

The ULTRA-PLUS model has a central plate (centerplate) that spreads the pressure to both sides of the dog's neck, taking the load off the sensitive windpipe. The links are rounded - no sharp edges to irritate the skin. An extra chain runs through the collar to limit how far it tightens, so the correction is precise and controlled. An added swivel stops the leash twisting around the links.

Side ClickLock buckle - no need to pull it over the head

The collar has a ClickLock buckle mounted on the side, so you put it on without dragging it over the dog's head - especially handy with dogs that have a large head. The buckle has a built-in guard against opening by accident during work.

Important - for use during training only

This prong collar is intended for on-leash work during active training. It should not be used during free running, transport or while the dog is unsupervised.
