CUROGAN is a patented copper and tin alloy, created specifically for the production of dog collars and prong collars. Its high copper content, combined with carefully selected additives, makes this material exceptionally durable and corrosion-resistant.
CUROGAN is completely free of nickel, a metal that most often causes allergic reactions in dogs with sensitive skin, such as irritation or rashes. Collars and chains made with this material are less likely to cause coat discoloration, especially in lighter-colored dogs.
Due to its high copper content, the collar may naturally darken over time with regular use. The original shade can easily be restored using commercially available polishing compounds, also available in our store.
However, it's worth remembering that CUROGAN's abrasion resistance is slightly higher than that of traditional steel collars. Therefore, we recommend regularly inspecting the collar's condition and replacing it when signs of wear appear to ensure maximum safety and comfort for your dog.
