Bende tug - nylcot

The Bende nylcot tug is a light, durable tool for motivation and drive work. It stands up well to intensive training, dirt and moisture, and dogs are keen to bite it.

What it is for

A tug builds the desire to work and rewards a full, confident grip. You play tug with your dog, trade it for another item and reinforce engagement. Nylcot is tough and easy to keep clean, which is why it works well in training in any conditions.

Size and number of handles - how to choose

The smaller 5 × 25 cm tug works well for work from the hand, with younger dogs and smaller breeds. The larger 6 × 30 cm gives a fuller grip and sits better in the mouth of a hard-working dog.

The one-handle version is a classic one-handed tug. Two handles, one on each side, let you hold it with both hands and give a more secure hold when playing tug hard.
