Bende leather tug

The Bende leather tug is a simple tool for motivation and drive work. Soft yet durable natural leather that dogs like to grip and hold.

What it is for

A tug is a reward that comes alive in your hands. With it you build the desire to work, play tug with your dog, trade it for another item and reinforce a confident, full grip. Leather sits well in the mouth and is not hard, so dogs are keen to bite it and fight for the reward.

Leather that dogs like to hold

Natural leather softens over time and adapts to the work. It is pleasant to grip and stands up to tugging. The handles made of strong webbing are solidly stitched and sit well in the hand.

Size and number of handles - how to choose

The smaller 5 × 25 cm tug works well for work from the hand, with younger dogs and smaller breeds. The larger 6 × 30 cm gives a fuller grip and sits better in the mouth of a hard-working dog.

The one-handle version is a classic one-handed tug. Two handles, one on each side, let you hold it with both hands and give a more secure hold when playing tug hard.
