The Herman Sprenger ClickLock buckle is an accessory for training prong collars with a centre plate. It lets you swap the collar's standard fastening for a quick, one-handed snap buckle - without losing any of the prong collar's functions.
How does it work?
The buckle replaces the centre plate of a Herman Sprenger prong collar. Once fitted, the collar goes on and comes off with a single click, without pulling it over the dog's head. The catch has a built-in safeguard against accidental opening during work.
How to choose the size
The buckle size is matched to the wire thickness of the prong collar. Choose the 2.25 mm variant for 2.25 mm wire, the 3.00 mm variant for 3.0 and 3.2 mm wire, and the 4.00 mm variant for 4.0 mm wire.
The 3.00 mm buckle covers two thicknesses, because Sprenger does not make a separate version for 3.2 mm wire - the holes in this size fit both.
The size is decided by the wire thickness of your prong collar, which you will find in its specification table.
