Euro Joe tracking marker

The Euro Joe tracking marker is a flag on a metal rod used to mark where a track begins in tracking - in training and at IGP/IPO trials (a dog sport in which tracking is one of the disciplines).

What the marker is for

In tracking, the dog picks up a scent trail laid earlier on the ground and leads the handler along it. The marker is pushed into the ground at the starting point - so you know exactly where the track begins and can calmly bring the dog down to scent. The start of the track is marked the same way at exams and competitions, so the dog gets used to the sight of the flag from the very first training sessions.

Visible in any terrain

A bright colour makes the marker easy to spot from a distance - in tall grass, on a field or in a meadow. Choose from five vivid colours; pick the one that contrasts best with the terrain you usually work in.

Sturdy build

The metal rod is rigid, so the marker is easy to push into firmer ground too - and to use season after season.
